When Rob McMullen was looking for local farming opportunities, he was guided by Root Radical CSA Farm in Gananoque, to the Loving Spoonful Community Training Farm program.

 

‘I think most days are impactful, but I would have to say that the most memorable moment was when a market stand participant said to me. ‘Thank you so much for all the work you do. I get to eat today because of you.”

Peter Glynn dedicated his entire career to public service. He initially served as a civil engineer in the army before transitioning to roles in post-secondary education in Ontario and Saskatchewan. Ultimately, he concluded his professional journey in the healthcare sector, where he held the position of President and CEO at Kingston General Hospital.

​

 

He now serves the public as a volunteer, not only for Loving Spoonful but also Martha’s Table, Food Share and Trellis HIV and Community Care.
